AlleN-G
The gastrointestinal (GI) barrier utilizes immunological and mechanical mechanims to block the penetration of food based antigens, but they may get into the blood stream and give rise to a non-IgE mediated chronic sensitivity reaction in susceptible individuals. It appears that GI barrier is more permeable in young infants and so increase the risk of penetration of foreign antigens (cow’s milk, egg, soy, peanut, tomato, wheat protein). These reactions are associated potencially with IgG class of immunoglobulins. Non-IgE mediated food sensitives are tipically temporary diseases appearing in children less than 3 years. AlleN-G ELISA kit of Diagnosticum Co. is an enzyme immunoassay for detection of IgG antibodies to cow’s milk, egg, soy, peanut, tomato, wheat protein in human sera.
