tTG-IgG
Gluten sensitive eneteropathy (GSE) is a type of autoimmun disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the intestinal mucosa. The anti-endomysium (EMA), anti-gliadin (AGA) anti-reticulin (ARA) and anti-tissue transglutaminase (tTG)-IgA autoantibodies are accepted as the serological markers of the disease (coeliac disease (CD) and Dhuring’s dermatitis herpetiformis (DH)). A number of studies have demonstrated that the IgG autoantibodies determination is important because the IgA deficiebcy is more frequent among the Coeliac patients than in the normal population. The tTG-IgG Test ELISA kit of Diagnosticum Co. is an enzyme immunoassay for the detection of IgG antibodies to tTG in human serum.
