tTG-IgA
Gluten sensitive eneteropathy (GSE) is a type of autoimmun disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the intestinal mucosa. The anti-endomysium (EMA), anti-gliadin (AGA) and anti-reticulin (ARA) autoantibodies are accepted as the serological markers of the disease (coeliac disease (CD) and Dhuring’s dermatitis herpetiformis (DH)). The EMA antibodies are considered as the most reliable one and recently the autoantigen has been identified as the tissue transglutaminase (tTG). The tTG-IgA Test ELISA kit of Diagnosticum Co. is an enzyme immunoassay for the detection of IgA antibodies to tTG in human serum.
