Glia IgA
Coeliac disease (CD) or gluten sensitive eneteropathy (GSE) is a life long intolerance to the gliadin of wheat and prolamins of barley, rye and oats. The diagnosis of CD is based on the presence of villous athrophy in a jejunel biopsy specimen. The presence of antibodies to gliadin in the human serum correlates to villous athrophy. GLIA-IgA TEST ELISA kit of Diagnosticum Co. is an enzyme immunoassay for the detection of IgA antibodies to gliadin in human serum.
