Mycoplasma gallisepticum (M.gallisepticum) is a major cause of chronic infections of poultry in the respiratory tract.M. gallisepticum infections are accompanied by deficient feed utilization and low aptitude for laying. Exposure of flock to M. gallisepticum can be monitored by the screening of the antibodies to its antigen using the MyGa test of Diagnosticum Co. The protection of the flock needs regular checking and the MyGa Test provides an effective means for the detection of infection even in the early phase.
