Our
commitment: Ever since Diagnosticum was established we have been striving to
help our customers by providing high quality and broad ranging diagnostic
services. As part of the big team, the R&D Laboratory produces reagents,
kits and provides custom immunodiagnostic services in close collaboration with
the costumers. Based on the extensive clinical laboratory, industry and
scientific experience of the team we offer diagnostic and research services
tailored to your needs.

Hajna Péterfy (PhD) is Head of R&D Laboratory
of Diagnosticum Zrt.
She coordinates the R&D activities of our research laboratory, the
registration and manufacturing of own IVD kits and manages the SLE-aid project
process. Ms Péterfy
obtained her MSc diploma in biology at the Eötvös Loránd University and her PhD degree in Immunology at the Eötvös Loránd University.
Earlier, she worked as a visiting student at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot (Israel). She also worked formerly as a
post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Development Biology and Cancer,
CNRS in Nice in the group of ‘Death Receptor Signaling in Cancer Therapy’.
Klára Rásky (PhD) is Registration Expert of the R&D
Laboratory.
She plans and controls registration procedures and prepares documentation for
EC and/or IVD marking. Klára obtained her MSc diploma
at Budapest Technical University, her PhD as biological engineer. Started her carreer at HUMAN Vaccine Production and Research Institute,
later worked at Drug Research Centers pharmacokinetics
department. She has been working for Diagnosticum since 1992, previously as
director of R&D activities.
Eszter Seprős (MSc) is Leader of Quality Control.
She obtained Msc in bioengineering and medical
bioengineering from Budapest Technical University. She has been working for
Diagnosticum since 2001. She cares for daily coordination of development and
production activities, evaluation of activities and oversees chemical safety
procedures.
Anita Nyilas is member of the Production Team.
She has been working at the R&D lab from
1992 as laboratory assistant. She is involved in the daily production
activities, quality control, ensures supply for the laboratory, follows
costumer inquiries; and arranges product shipment.
Gabriella Metzler is Cellular
Diagnostics specialist.
She has been working since 1990 at Diagnosticum as laboratory assistant for the
R&D. She is involved mainly in sterile work with preparative
and diagnostic cell culturing.
Zsuzsa Lajos is
member of the Production Team.
She has been working for
Diagnosticum since 1997, joining the laboratory in 2013 as
laboratory assistant. She is involved in the daily production activities,
quality control, ensures supply for the laboratory, follows costumer inquiries;
and arranges product shipment.
Ferenc Péterfy (PhD) is Founder and President of Diagnosticum.
He obtained his MSc in biochemistry and his PhD in chemistry. Before founding
Diagnosticum, he worked at EGIS Pharmaceuticals, University of Helsinki, and
the former Human Institute at Gödöllő, where he was
responsible for developing an immunodiagnostics product line. Earlier he also participated
in United Nations projects where he established the local production of
in-vitro diagnostic kits in Turkey and the Philippines.
Zoltán Hérincs (PhD) is Lead Researcher Biologist.
He has been employed by Diagnosticum since 2012, working on the development of
serological microarrays in autoimmune disease diagnostics and microfluidic
systems. Previously, he was research associate at Semmelweis
University Nanomedicine Research Institute; post-doc fellow at University of
Sciences Eötvös Loránd
(Budapest) and PhD student at the Institute of Development Biology and Cancer,
CNRS in Nice. He obtained his PhD degree in 2005 in biology.
József Prechl (PhD) is Director of Research and
Development.
He graduated as general medical doctor in 1993 at Semmelweis
University, and then he obtained his PhD in biology in 2003 at Eötvös Loránd University. He
worked on the EU sponsored project “Genetically engineered vaccines” in Utrecht
(Netherlands) in 1996-1997. He has been working at the Immunology Research
Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, located at ELTE since 1997. Before
joining Diagnosticum, he worked at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory
Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison as visiting scientist on several
occasions. At Diagnosticum his research group has developed protein arrays for
characterization of immune response, particularly for the diagnosis of
autoimmune diseases.
